When Grunge became popular in the early 90s, Pearl Jam, along with Nirvana, were the pioneers of this new music movement. Pearl Jam is the only one of the major Seattle Grunge bands to have consistently been active and producing albums since then. In late 2016, Pearl Jam was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
