door Christian Holt (04/01) This man has achieved a lot. After the Hardcore legend Scream, Dave Grohl joined Nirvana and reached worldwide cult status through his energetic, dynamic drumming. When in 1994 the end came, he dared the position of fronting his own band, namely the Foo Fighters. After their last studio album "One by one", this now is their first DVD. Here, the quartet can prove to everybody who hasn't had the chance to capture them live what a great live-band Grohl & Co. are. Furthermore, the DVD offers a lot of material that should bring tears in every fan's eyes clocking in at about three hours. You get a recording of the Toronto-concert of the "One by one"-tour, 4 acoustic versions of the show in Washington D.C., unfortunately only 2 songs of the gig at Slane Castle in front of this incredible scenery, the complete Island concert as an audio feature, only with photographs and even more. Maybe, the Foo Fighters are just the biggest band in the world. This DVD suggests something like that...
