"Finding the sacred heart - Live in Philly 1986" werd opgenomen op 17 juni 1986 in "The Spectrum" in Philadelphia tijdens het tweede deel van de "Sacred Heart'' β tour, met de nieuwe gitarist Craig Goldy. De korte versie werd eerder uitgebracht op VHS en DVD dit is echter het complete concert voor de eerste keer uitgegeven en met de juiste nummervolgorde, met geremasterd geluid en verbeterde kwaliteit op basis van de originele 16mm-films. Het is een bijzondere live show met spectaculaire laser effecten, pyrotechniek en een gigantisch elektronisch geanimeerde draak, op een troon op het podium. Ronnie James Dio is in top vorm en zijn band leverde een geweldige prestatie.
