The NWOBHM cult band Jaguar was founded 35 years ago in Bristol/UK by vocalist Rob Reiss, guitarist Garry Pepperd, bass player Jeff Cox and drummer Chris Lovell and quickly reached cult status. The band is a classic representative of the new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM), whereby influences by Saxon and Iron Maiden are clearly audible. JAGUAR is one of Lars Ulrich's (Metallica's drummer) favourite bands. 12 years after their last release, they now bring out the speedy rocker "METAL X"! The guys, mixed by Mike Exeter (BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST, etc.), are still calling the shots in the world of heavy metal today. Full throttle all the way to the finish line!
