Het debuutalbum van de Ramones viert zijn verjaardag dit jaar en het is zeker weten 'een van de belangrijkste en invloedrijkste albums aller tijden', aldus The Rolling Stone (VS). Het meesterwerk duurt slechts 29 minuten, maar zorgde voor het begin van de punkrockscène in de VS en het VK. Het heeft veel artiesten geinspireerd in deze generatie en in die erna. Om deze grote invloed te eren, heeft Rhino de ultieme ode aan het album gemaakt. Het geheel wordt samen met een 30x30 cm hardcover boek geleverd. De 3CD/1 vinylbox is gelimiteerd naar een totaal van 19,760 (vanwege het jaar 1976), die allemaal individueel genummerd zijn. Dit is inclusief een geremasterde en geoptimaliseerde stereoversie en mono mix van het album. Daarnaast bevat het veel zeldzaamheden zoals onuitgebrachte demo's en onuitgebrachte opnames van liveshows. Dit is allemaal gemasterd en gemixt door Craig Leon, de oorspronkelijke producer van het album. Naast de muziek, wordt het geleverd met uitgebreide aantekeningen van Leon over de productie van het album, een essay door rockjournalist Mitchell Cohen over de beginperiode van de RAMONES en extra foto's door Roberta Bayley, wiens legendarische bandfoto op de albumcover staat.
CD 1 bevat de opnieuw gemasterde stereoversie en de mono mix.
CD 2 bevat single mixes, onuitgebrachte onderdelen en demo's. Een aantal van deze opnames zijn nooit uitgebracht, waaronder de demo's van I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend, 53rd en 3d and Loudmouth.
CD 3 bevat twee complete live concerten in The Roxy in West Hollywood, gespeeld op 12 augustus, 1976. De eerste set van de avond is al eerder uitgebracht; maar de tweede set wordt nu voor het eerst uitgebracht!

De hele set is nu compleet door een vinyl LP met de nieuwe mono mix van The Ramones.
