'Our flame won't get any smaller' - the core concept of 'RIOT' speaks volumes. On their fourth album, BLACKOUT PROBLEMS embed an explosive rock sound in a cloud of dark synthesizers. With wild, unusual song structures and free from expectations, the Munich-based band sounds typically dark but also danceable - sad and euphoric at the same time. Once again, the centerpiece of 'RIOT' is the process of writing personal experiences. Inspired by political events such as the rise of right-wing extremism, the hate spread by the AFD, the resulting online hate, as well as the courage of people like Sophie Scholl and Luisa Neubauer, 11 songs have been created that, along with thought-provoking lyrics, rain down on the harsh world of reality.
