The "Spinhead Session" was recorded in the corresponding studio in 1986 while Sonic Youth was busy creating the soundtrack of Ken Friedman's movie "Made In U.S.A.". For the first time, this session is released on vinyl incl. download code!
Sonic Youth's last studio album was released in 2009 and is considered a masterpiece by fans and critics alike! The break up between guitarist Thurston Moore and bassist Kim Gordon in 2011 seemed to be the end of Sonic Youth as well although the band never split up officially.
