Elk jaar, aan het begin van juni, vindt het legendarische Sweden Rock Festival plaats in de Zuid-Duitse plaats van SΓΆlvesborg. Sinds festivaloprichter Ingolf Persson een klein maar fijn Rock festival oprichtte in 1992, groeide het Sweden Rock Festival uit tot 4-daags evenement met meer dan 30.000 bezoekers en ongetwijfeld behoort het tot de meest prominente Rock/Metal - festivals in wereld. Op 5 podia staan elk jaar de grootste, meeste cult- en de beste Rock- en Metal bands. Onder hen waren bijvoorbeeld bands als Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Scorpions, Dio, MotΓΆrhead, MΓΆtley CrΓΌe etc etc etc. Nu voor het eerst de hoogtepunten van het jaar 2005 en 2006 op een dubbel DVD, met veel bonusmateriaal, van het - volgens de bezoekers, de pers en de muzikanten - beste en meest vriendelijke festival ter wereld.
