After we finally saw the release of their self-titled debut album (released in the States already in 2001), Kyle Gas and Jack Black - "the biggest rock stars these days"- now present the follow-up: "The complete masterworks" is their first (double-)DVD. Beside the legendary gig in the Brixton Academy in 2002 (of course featuring all hits, such as "Tribute", "Wonderboy", "Dio", "Explosivo" or "Kyle quit the band"), the rare HBO episodes from their early days, the great short films of the U.S. cable show, "Tenacious D: The Greatest Band On Earth Which Appeared On HBO", Tenacious D. in the studio and in TV appearances, this set also includes the videos for "Tribute" and "Wonderboy" (with making ofs each) as well as "F**k her gently". And if you've come to know the band you'll know their comedian as well as musical talent with which they compose one ingenious classic after the other. If you thought that Spinal Tap were the upper end, you haven't seen these two cult discs!
