'In 2022, DIETH caused a uproar in the metal scene when the newly formed band released their debut single, 'In The Hall of the Hanging Serpents,' in the middle of the year. After a period of silence from the individual musicians, Grammy Award-winning bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), drummer Michał Łysejko (ex-Decapitated), and Swedish Grammy-nominated guitarist and singer Guilherme Miranda (ex-Entombed A.D.) joined forces to create a death thrash alliance that impressed fans and media alike with this surprise.

On June 2, 2023, the highly anticipated debut Album, 'To Hell And Back,' will finally be released. 'To Hell And Back' represents a fresh start in every aspect – lyrically, musically, and of course, personally, for the musicians themselves. Produced and mixed independently, and mastered by Tomasz Zed Zalewski at Zed Studios in Chechło, Poland, DIETH has left behind the genre stereotypes of the past and is now setting new, distinctive accents. Relentless death metal with technical elements meets rapid thrash attacks, all while showcasing Ellefson's debut as a lead vocalist on one of the ten tracks.

The title track of the Album introduces listeners to the universe of 'To Hell And Back' with an acoustic intro before an impetuous death metal storm erupts, dominated by thunderous, guttural vocals. With furious drums, deepgrooving bass, innovative riffs, and intricate solos, the trio showcases their skills in this fierce sonic battle cry. Tracks like 'Dead Inside' and 'Don't Get Mad ... Get Even!' embrace DIETH's thrash side, while death metal anthems like 'Wicked Disdain' and 'The Mark of Cain' impress with intense solos and breakneck rhythms. 'Free Us All' plays with the Album's tempo by mixing quieter passages with booming bass and psychedelic influences. On the other hand, 'Heavy Is The Crown' progresses slower, driven by a stoner metal groove, catapulting listeners into other dimensions with its swaying refrain and bluesy solo. In the melancholic ballad 'Walk With Me Forever,' David Ellefson explores the possibility of drawing strength from the loss of a loved one, showcasing his powerful debut as a lead vocalist.
