After the Canadian speed metal pioneers of the first generation, Anvil and Exciter, and heavily influenced by the local Toronto legends Razor, Sacrifice from Scarborough set out shortly afterwards to make history with their unique, raw thrash metal. In 1986, Ben Hoffman, owner of The Record Peddler, financed Sacrifice's first album 'Torment In Fire' and released it on his own label, Fringe Product. It is now being reissued in a slipcase.
