"Game of sins" CD van Axel Rudi Pell

"Game Of Sins" is a band on the peak of their creativity. Even if the cover and the intro "Lenta Fortune" (lat. "bad luck") suggest a concept album about playing, "Game Of Sins" is ARP in its purest form. The metal opener with siren sounds "Fire" is a promise. However, with songs like "Sons In The Night", ARP does not only pay tribute to the series "Sons Of Anarchy", but also to NWOBHM. The title song, which is almost nine minutes long, Pell shows his love for epic topics and arabic scales. "Falling Star" is more similar to the 80's sound. An ARP album without ballads is not possible. Somehow, the guys from Bochum always come up with some. One of the highlights is the song "The King Of Fools": five minutes of pure emotion, a perfect mix of strength and melody. Gioeli is a god on the mic. But the guitar sounds are also outstanding. "Till The World Says Goodbye" shows Pell in his element: epic, ballad-style, and dark. "Breaking The Rules" is another melodic rock song until the albums ends with the ballad "Forever Free". The grand finale is on the digipak: ARP are the first to make a hard rock version of the Dylan/Hendrix classic "All Along The Watchtower".
