Het album "Covered in Blood" is een compilatie van covernummers door Arch Enemy en bevat alle covertracks die de band ooit heeft opgenomen, waaronder rock- en metalklassiekers van Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Kiss, Megadeth, Carcass, Europe, Scorpions, Queensrÿche, Manowar, Pretty Maids, Dream Evil, Mike Oldfield en Tears For Fears, alsook compromisloze punk-/hardcore-punknummers van Discharge, G.B.H., Anti-Cimex en Skitslickers. Het album bevat bovendien hoesteksten van Michael Amott voor alle nummers. De artwork voor "Covered in Blood" werd ontworpen door niemand minder dan Costin Chioreanu (o.a. At The Gates, Ghost, Grave). Alle nummers zijn geremasterd voor vinyl en CD.
